SEA’AH – UAE, United Arab Emirates
Area : 300 m²
“Sea’ah” refers not only to physical spacious ness, but to a profound architectural quality that embraces openness, freedom of movement, and adaptability.
It reflects a traditional design philosophy where the value of space is measured not just by its dimensions, but by how it breathes, flows, and responds to changing needs.
In Emirati architecture, this sense of ‘Sea’ah’ creates environments that are both serene and versatile—spaces that invite gathering, contemplation, and comfort, while remaining flexible and attuned to the rhythms of daily life and climate.

GROUND LEVEL

Privacy: a core aspect of UAE cultural identity, is expressed in the villa through rotated CEB blocks, and angled louvers, ensuring visual privacy, shading, airflow, and a strong link to heritage.
Material: Compressed Earth Blocks (CEB) are sustainable, locally made building materials ideal for the UAE’s climate. In this design, the top of each block features a palm leaf imprint (Hasir), symbolizing Emirati heri tage and echoing traditional Arish architecture.
Elements: The shading element of the parking area uses durable tent fabric inspired by traditional beduin architecture, reflecting the UAE’s heritage while providing effecive sun protection.
